Why ponding matters
Water that sits on a flat roof for more than a couple of days after rain breaks down the membrane and finds every weak seam. Fixing the slope is often as important as the new roofing.
2-ply and 3-ply systems
Depending on the roof, we install 2-ply or 3-ply torch-down systems, often with a peel-and-stick base layer and a cool-rated cap sheet. We’ve installed these on homes in Studio City and Northridge and on multi-unit buildings in Chatsworth.
